As we all know, safety is one of the company’s top priorities. On October 16, a fire drill was held in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to ensure that employees in the office know what to do in case of a fire. The event included a seminar on emergency procedures and relevant information needed in such circumstances. Finally, there was a live demonstration on how to use a fire extinguisher to put out a fire.
Our last book discussion was on As a Man Thinketh by James Allen. This short yet impactful book conveys the idea that thoughts shape reality in just a few pages. As individuals, we shape who we are; the thoughts we harbor within manifest into what we become. If you cultivate good thoughts, you will become a good person. On the other hand, negative thoughts will yield similar negative results. From October 24th to 26th, the Management Summit was held at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan. This three-day, two-night event featured meaningful activities for all participants. It included leadership workshops and an exploration of Filipino culture.
With the month of October coming to an end, the company hosted a Halloween costume party at the office, where employees arrived in their spookiest outfits and enjoyed a day filled with frights and scares.
